Importing Recipes ยท 2 min read
The most flexible import method. Copy recipe text from anywhere โ an Instagram caption, a TikTok description, a website, a message from a friend โ and let RecipeMe structure it for you.
Steps
- Copy the recipe text from wherever you found it (Instagram caption, TikTok description, WhatsApp message, etc.).
- Open RecipeMe and tap the + button.
- Select Paste Text.
- Paste your text into the box and tap Parse Recipe.
- RecipeMe automatically detects the title, ingredients (with amounts), and steps. Review and save.
What gets detected automatically

Ingredients โ lines with amounts and units (e.g. "2 cups flour")

Steps โ numbered lines or lines starting with cooking verbs
