The most flexible import method. Copy recipe text from anywhere — an Instagram caption, a TikTok description, a website, a message from a friend — and let RecipeMe structure it for you.

Steps

Copy the recipe text from wherever you found it (Instagram caption, TikTok description, WhatsApp message, etc.).
Open RecipeMe and tap the + button.
Select Paste Text.
Paste your text into the box and tap Parse Recipe.
RecipeMe automatically detects the title, ingredients (with amounts), and steps. Review and save.

What gets detected automatically

✅Title — first line of the text
✅Ingredients — lines with amounts and units (e.g. "2 cups flour")
✅Steps — numbered lines or lines starting with cooking verbs
✅Sections — headers like "INGREDIENTS" or "FOR THE SAUCE"

💡 Tip: After importing, you can edit any part of the recipe — add an image, adjust servings, fix ingredients — by tapping Edit on the recipe page.
